Corvallis Oregon was ranked by Outside Magazine as one of the top 20 towns to live in.  Find out why: Wineries The Willamette Valley's climate and geography make it a unique place for wine grapes.  Visiting the local wineries is a great, and there are several shuttle services that take parties to some of the top places.  Take a look at the winery list and print out a map for your next tasting tour. da Vinci Days If you're in Corvallis in July, you can't miss out on the biggest festival of the year.  This family fun event celebrates innovation and creativity across multiple fields. The Oregon State science departments do a great job at helping organize the event and putting on some great activities as well. Corvallis Farmers' Market Enjoy visiting local farmers' booths and helping the local community.  Some of the products available include home-made jams and honey, breads, baked goods, flowers, meat and poultry, jewelry, and of course fruits and veggies.
